Welcome 2022 COVA Conference Attendees!

I look forward to meeting you in Keystone and sharing my work in the Thriver Zone !

Susan Omilian, Founder of the Thriver Zone

Hi! I’m Susan Omilian, Founder and CEO of Thriver ZoneSince my nineteen-year-old niece Maggie was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend in 1999, I have worked with hundreds of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse, helping them take the journey from victim to survivor to thriver as Maggie could not. Women who reclaim their lives in this way are less likely to return to an abusive relationship or suffer the long-term psychological consequences of what they have experienced.

To learn more about my personal journey after Maggie’s death and meet several women who I have helped on this journey beyond abuse, watch a short video. You can also visit my website at www.ThriverZone.com for more about my booksmy trainings and my workshops for survivors and the Thriver Zone Motivational Model I have successfully used for this amazing journey beyond abuse.

See below for several ways we can connect in Keystone, but before then be sure to check out the COVA 2022 Conference SPECIAL DISCOUNT on my three Thriver Zone books.

Hope, Healing, and Empowerment: Build Resiliency, Reclaim Lives from Victim to Survivor to Thriver

Workshop Description

From hopelessness and despair, survivors of domestic and sexual violence can be empowered to take the critical journey beyond abuse from victim to
survivor to thriver and reclaim their lives. Learn a motivational model based on Dr. Judith Herman’s stages of recovery from trauma that can help survivors build resiliency, restore their self-esteem, and bolster their self-determination to move beyond abuse. Explore the model’s methods developed by Susan Omilian, a survivor of a domestic violence homicide who has worked with domestic violence and sexual assault victims for more than 40 years. Ms. Omilian will demonstrate the innovative, evidence-based, and life-changing techniques successfully being used to help women move from survivors to thrivers – healthy, happy people with brilliant, productive futures. The methods include positive storytelling, exercises to counter negative, limiting beliefs that sabotage forward movement, and tools for strategic visioning and goal setting so survivors can manifest a life of power and purpose despite all that has happened to them.
