Planting “Thriving” Seeds of Life

It was a good day for thriving, Saturday, June 29 at our monthly Archangel follow-up session where former victims of abuse — now thrivers — enjoyed an Expressive Arts exercise led by Christine Rodrigue.

The workshop was a hit and helped the women to further their healing.

Finished pot with a thriving message!

We started by writing down words that described the impact of the trauma on us, the negative “stuff’ that we wanted to get rid of. Then we tore up the sheet into small pieces. With the help of a little water, a blender and a microwave, the wet pulp was dried into a new piece of paper!

Once the “new” paper was ready, we decorated it with “thriver” words and decorated our flower pots. With dirt in the bottom of the flower pot, we put the new “paper” on top and a flower seed.

We will await the plant to sprout, nourished by the new paper and our words of encouragement!

Monthly follow-up sessions for Archangels are free of charge for women who have successfully completed the My Avenging Angel Workshops.™
