Thurs. October 18 Susan Speaks at Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Waterbury

To mark October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Susan Omilian, Author of The Thriver Workbook: Journey from Victim to Survivor to Thriver! and Originator/Facilitator of My Avenging Angel Workshops™, will speak on Thursday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Also performing will be singer/songwriter Vanessa Stevens, creator of The Purple Song Project (purplesong.com), offering survivors of domestic violence hope, healing & awareness through song. Vanessa’s “violence recovery” music is included on The Thriver Workbook Companion CD.

The event is sponsored by Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, (safehavengw.org), a non-profit organizations that provides emergency shelter and free comprehensive support services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
