This Workshop Empowers Women to…
- CONQUER self doubt
- HEAL their wounded spirit
- DISCOVER hidden talents
- CREATE a new future for themselves
These are FREE Workshops in TWO PARTS.
The long-range impact of abuse on a victim’s life is not entirely known. Studies indicate that abuse can cause a chemical change in the brain that can alter a victim’s ability to deal with violence in her life. Only with guidance and support can women let go of the abusive in their pasts and create a new future for themselves and their children.
- Therapy or recovery groups which are also vehicles for healing and growth but focus more on understanding past events or identifying obstacles to growth, not setting a specific path for future growth.
- Support groups that encourage change, but do not always manifest a vision for that change that will lead to further psychological and spiritual transformation.
In order to reach all women who have been abused including those with low income or without sufficient income to spend on pursuing their creative potential, workshops are provided free of charge.
Moving on after abuse is not a luxury item!
“Susan’s work provides a component for women recovering from crisis that has until now been virtually overlooked. After we’re standing on the edge of the new life that we barely dared to imagine, now that we’re savoring an abuse-free environment, cheering ‘I’m free,’ who answers the inevitable next question: ‘And now what?'”
